The Venture Capital Executive Compensation Survey

The venture capital community entrusts Advanced-HR to conduct the Venture Capital Executive Compensation Survey each year.

In late summer, Advanced-HR conducts the exclusive Venture Capital Executive Compensation Survey for private, venture backed companies of the survey’s sponsoring venture firms. After all surveys are uploaded and reviewed, an Excel-based executive compensation report is produced and distributed to the sponsoring firms and participating portfolio companies in October.

The survey, originating with Benchmark Capital, was conducted by Advanced-HR beginning in 2009 and has been expanded to inlcude the clean tech and life sciences industries as well as the technology sector.  The VC Executive Compensation Survey typically includes at least 30 participating venture firms with data being contributed by more than 650 private, venture backed companies each year.

Custom reports are available for venture firm customers who desire a subset of the entire survey. Reports may be produced that only include the firm’s portfolio companies which agree to be included in the data subset.
